French designer Thierry Lasry launched his eyewear brand in 2006.

Raised in a creative household with an Optician father and designer mother, Lasry’s mission statement is an innovative blending of unique style and practicality. As such, the Lasry brand creates frames that champion the bold identity of its wearer.

Lasry’s styles reference the 80s culture of Playmobil, Lego and Japanese cartoons in its colours and geometric shapes, as well as the high fashion of prestige brands such as Claude Montana and Thierry Mugler. Many of the frames include layered blocks of acetate using a process more akin to sculpture than to regular cutting techniques.

Entirely handmade with unparalleled craftsmanship techniques, Lasry’s styles from various collections have been worn by high-profile figures of the cultural sphere such as Nicole Kidman, Rihanna, and Kate Moss.
